Cosmos is a decentralized network of blockchains, offering a unique approach to blockchain interoperability.
Unlike Ethereum, Cosmos doesn't rely on the EVM. Instead, it uses Tendermint consensus engine and IBC protocol for interoperability. This allows blockchains to transfer tokens and data seamlessly, provided both chains support IBC.
Blockchains in the Cosmos ecosystem still operate independently, with their own token and rules. This attracts a diverse development community, enabling innovation without the constraints of a single blockchain system like Ethereum's.
