0xmons is an artist, dev, and founder who's renowned for projects like 0xmons (onchain neural net collectibles), Sudoswap (the decentralized NFT marketplace), and most recently, Stomp.
You can trace the origins of Stomp to January 2025 when 0xmons introduced monchain, an onchain PvP monster battler built atop his C.H.O.M.P. system. These have since evolved into Stomp, which now has an alpha available to play atop MegaETH.
The vision began around extensibility, i.e. players having the ability to create their own monsters and moves onchain (think the customization of Mugen x Pokémon's battle mechanics). I don't know if this extensibility is still a focus for the current form of Stomp, but it's still a latent possibility in the code, so the terrain ahead is wide open.
