Uniswap debuted Pools on Wednesday, their Robinhood Chain-centric launchpad.

Every token begins with a fixed supply of 1 billion and ultimately trades through a Uniswap v4 pool with permanently locked, autocompounding liquidity.

What's the Scoop?

  • Two Launch Formats: Crowd Launch distributes tokens through bids submitted over four hours, with earlier bids receiving better prices. It must reach a $10K FDV or bidders are refunded. Instant Launch, on the other hand, uses a bonding curve, goes live immediately, and has no minimum.
  • Lower, Autocompounding Fees: Each pool charges a 0.25% trading fee. Creators can choose to receive 0.05%, while the remainder automatically compounds into the permanently locked liquidity position, helping deepen liquidity and reduce spreads.
  • Launch Protections: Crowd Launch’s gradual bidding process intends to limit bundled purchases, protecting against snipers, while Instant Launch lets creators buy in the launch block so outside bots cannot purchase first.
  • Built-In Distribution: Tokens become available through Pools, Uniswap’s Web App, Wallet, Launches feed, API, and integrations with wallets and aggregators.
