Equipped with millisecond latency and capable of processing over 100k transactions per second, MegaETH MegaETH promises to unlock onchain experiences that simply weren’t possible before. With a growing cohort of tokenless MegaETH protocols going live, this nascent network also presents several promising airdrop plays.

At Bankless, we’re on constant airdrop watch, surfacing the most promising plays and delivering them straight to subscribers every month. We compile this alpha inside Airdrop Hunter, where you can find nearly 200 curated opportunities with step-by-step hunting guides.

World Markets advertises itself as a “feature-complete,” fully onchain exchange built on MegaETH. It combines spot trading, perpetuals, margin, and lending into an integrated system, delivering an onchain trading experience that mirrors a centralized exchange, but which does not operate on top of centralized infrastructure.

At the core of World Markets is the universal margin account, which empowers users to collateralize all their on-exchange positions within a single portfolio (similar to the capabilities provided by Solana’s Drift exchange).

World Markets makes the revolutionary claim of eliminating auto-deleveraging – a glitch that can occur in perpetual futures markets when a market becomes insolvent due to price volatility, and exchanges nullify payouts on profitable positions – by shifting the risk to lenders and socializing losses as bad debt.

It is worth noting, however, that perpetual traders on World Markets essentially lend funds to collateralize their positions. As a result, although auto-deleveraging may be avoided in a classical sense, severe market dislocation may still produce losses for profitable traders.
