The recently approved Ethereum spot ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) are a type of investment fund that tracks the price of Ethereum and allows investors to buy and sell shares of the fund on a stock exchange.
One of the most important events in crypto history, the ETF approval not only provides a more traditional and regulated way for investors to gain exposure to Ethereum but also indicates the traditional market's acceptance and legitimization of digital assets.
While not yet live, the approval signals a new era for Ethereum, which requires rethinking how we understand that asset and the implications of the spot ETF.
