Uniswap v4 Is Now an Aggregator
Uniswap's new Aggregator Hooks plug seven outside liquidity sources, covering more than 90% of DEX activity on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain, into v4.
Uniswap Labs has launched Aggregator Hooks, where each wraps an outside venue as its own v4 pool, so Uniswap's app and API, or any other router, can send trades through it on Ethereum, Base and Robinhood Chain. Trades routed to those outside sources pay a small protocol fee that goes toward UNI burns.
What's the Scoop?
How It Works: Each hook makes an outside source look like a Uniswap pool to any router. The router pulls fresh quotes every block and settles the whole route in one transaction, "with nothing new to approve."
Launch Sources: Fluid, Curve and PancakeSwap are among the outside sources live at launch, Uniswap Labs told The Block. Uniswap says more chains and sources are coming.
The Fee Pitch: Hayden Adams says there is "Zero margin added to native Uniswap liquidity," with "Just a couple basis points of UNI protocol fees for any routes to external sources."
Zooming Out: The first aggregator hook went live in March on Stripe and Paradigm's Tempo. The idea traces back to Uniswap's November 2025 UNIfication proposal.
