Bridge – a stablecoin issuance platform [acquired](https://www.bankless.com/podcast/stripes-trillion-dollar-bet-how-stablecoins-eat-global-payments) last year by fintech payments processor Stripe – has received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to become a federally chartered national trust bank.
