Strategy Proposes Daily Dividends for Preferred Stocks
The daily dividends would apply to all preferred stocks: STRC, STRF, STRK, and STRD, aiming to improve price stability, liquidity, and investor trust.
Strategy wants to start paying dividends every day across its four U.S.-listed “Digital Credit” preferred stocks.
What’s the Scoop?
Daily dividends: Strategy is asking shareholders to approve daily dividends for STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD. Every calendar day, even weekends and holidays, would become a dividend record date, with payment arriving the following business day.
Same economics: Nothing changes about how much the securities pay annually. Strategy is simply breaking the same dividend into much smaller, more frequent payments, moving STRC from twice-monthly to daily and the other three from quarterly to daily.

Building trust: The hope here is this will make Strategy’s preferred stocks feel more stable, liquid, and cash-like. Strategy explicitly says the change is designed to reduce price swings and increase demand, while helping STRC stay around its targeted $99-$100 price.
When it starts: Shareholders are expected to vote on October 28. If approved, STRC would begin the new cadence on November 1, with its first payment November 2. STRF, STRK, and STRD would follow on January 1, 2027, with their first payments expected January 4.
