Pump.fun Adds Leveraged Perps via Hyperliquid
Pump.fun’s new Hyperliquid integration brings leveraged perpetuals trading to the memecoin crowd.
Pump.fun isn't just a memecoin launchpad anymore. The platform has switched on leveraged perpetual futures trading inside its app, and it's leaning on Hyperliquid for the heavy lifting.
What's the Scoop?
The plumbing: Pump.fun plugs in through Hyperliquid's builder codes, a setup that lets outside apps pipe user orders into Hyperliquid's books and pocket a cut of the fees. Hyperliquid's HyperCore engine does the matching and runs liquidations.
The leverage: Early reports put max leverage at 40x on BTC and 25x on ETH. The perps are off-limits in the U.S. and Ontario.

Background prep: Perps data first surfaced in Pump.fun's API around Oct. 9th, and the launch follows the platform's HyperEVM spot trading integration in August.
Interesting timing: Pump.fun briefly out-earned Hyperliquid on a weekly basis in late September. Now it's routing its traders straight into Hyperliquid's order books, a neat snapshot of the builder-code era, where frontends and venues can be rivals and partners at once.
