Trueo, a permissionless prediction market where users create their own markets, is migrating from Base to Ethereum L1. The team is betting that mainnet's liquidity and integrations are worth more than cheap, fast blocks, and Vitalik Buterin quickly gave the move his blessing.

Why now: Trueo launched on Base in March 2025, when L1 gas was pricier and much of its product was still experimental. It now wants to be a mostly immutable, widely integrated platform, and it insists the switch isn't a vote against Base.
Oracle first: Once it's on L1, the team will focus on pulling liquidity into core market categories and shipping the next generation of its evidence-driven oracle, which it considers its biggest edge in dispute resolution.
Transitioning: Base markets keep running, but users are asked not to open new ones that expire after Jan. 31st, 2027. TRUE holders can migrate anytime, with no cutoff, and future rewards will live on Ethereum.
Market buzz: At the time of writing, TRUE had ripped +920% on the day following Vitalik's endorsement.
