MegaETH Token Goes Live

MegaETH’s MEGA token is officially live. Users can now begin earning "Terminal Points" by interacting with ecosystem applications.

What's the Scoop?

• Launch Timing: MegaETH's MEGA token generation event (TGE) occurred on earlier today, April 30, 2026. The team indicated that onchain trading would begin at 6am EST, followed by offchain centralized exchange trading starting at 7am EST (it was unclear whether all listing exchanges followed this plan). By 7am EST, all tokens had been distributed to eligible investors (it is unclear why some investor distributions received priority over others).
• Incentives Program: MegaETH introduced a points system called "Terminal" ahead of its TGE to incentivize app usage, dApp interaction, and ecosystem growth. MegaETH users can begin farming Season 1 "Terminal Points" for the next eight weeks (April 28 through June 23, 2026) by using ecosystem apps.
• Token Details: The total supply of MEGA tokens is 10B, with approximately 1.1B tokens entering circulation upon the TGE. While the token began trading at $0.22 according to Coingecko, it has since fallen ~30% to $0.15, punishing early buyers, but leaving all pre-TGE investors in profit (participants in the MEGA ICO acquired tokens at $0.0999).
