# Getting Started with Bankless MCP

General-purpose AI assistants are thin on crypto specifics, which is where the **Bankless MCP** comes in.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI workspaces like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor plug directly into outside data instead of just guessing from training data. 

As such, [Bankless MCP](https://www.bankless.com/docs/mcp) wires that plug into the *entire *Bankless content archive: every article and newsletter we've published, full podcast transcripts (speaker-mapped, searchable by phrase), and profiles on the people, projects, and tokens we track. 

For example, ask your workspace "What's Bankless tracking on the Base x402 ecosystem right now?" and it'll pull the current list of all mentions through the MCP and then answer with *sourced *specifics.

New posts and transcripts flow into the MCP as we publish them, so the resource will stay current without you ever having to do any extra work. It'll be constantly growing.
