After [losing a key court battle](https://decrypt.co/317589/apple-loosens-nft-crypto-ios-app-rules) with Epic Games, Apple bent the knee and eased its App Store restrictions. Among other things, the withdrawal means U.S. mobile apps can now support NFT sales. 

Why's this matter? Because NFT projects like OpenSea and Magic Eden can *finally *offer direct buying experiences in their iOS apps instead of just browse-only interfaces, which was their big limitation previously. 

*Plus*, the ruling also blocked Apple from charging its infamous 27% cut on external purchases, paving the way for more crypto-native apps to be accessible *and *profitable.
