About Eddy Lazzarin
Eddy Lazzarin is the chief technology officer for a16z crypto. He oversees the engineering, research, and security teams, which support the investing process and collaborate with portfolio companies to build the future of the internet.
Before a16z crypto, Eddy was a software engineer at Netflix working on data ingestion systems, and a data engineer at Facebook working on growth analytics and modeling for Messenger.
Eddy has a B.A. in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and an M.S. in Computer Science (concentrating in Statistical Computing) from Washington University in St. Louis, where he researched behavioral economics and game theory with Leonard Green.
