Powered by Arbitrum’s Orbit L2 stack, [ApeChain](https://l2beat.com/scaling/projects/apechain) offers gas-sponsored transactions, abstracted accounts, and LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token standard, enabling cross-chain transfers. 

In other words? It's pretty slick! But it's also a very degen environment at the moment. 

In the wake of the network's launch, we've seen a fresh wave of apps arrive on the L3 like [Ape Express](https://x.com/ape_express_), a token launchpad similar to Pump.fun, and [Top Trader](https://x.com/Toptrader_xyz), a trade simulator platform.

Will ApeChain continue to attract coins and NFTs from beyond the BAYC ecosystem? Only time will tell. For now, though, it’s clearly a high-risk, high-reward opportunity for those looking to explore new ventures.
